Experience: Current term expires 2016 -- Twenty five (25) years of private practice in almost every aspect of the legal profession. Specialty in Landlord/Tenant law-representing Residential and Commercial Landlords. Former City Prosecutor for the City of Rialto for 5 years, 1985-1989. Judge Pro Tem in San Bernardino, Riverside and Los Angeles Counties for the past 20 years hearing over 8,000 cases. Developed and maintains a successful law practice servicing San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, San Diego, Kern and Los Angeles Counties. Current term expires 2014 -- Council Member Joe Baca Jr., is one of the newest members elected to the Rialto City Council. Prior to serving on the City Council, he was a member of the California State Assembly. With his legislative experience, he now serves on the League Legislative Task Force Committee. He also represents the City of Rialto on the San Bernardino County Municipal Water District with the other local representatives. The Council Member is passionate about infrastructure improvement and services in our community and represents the City on the Community Development Block Grand Ad Hoc Committee.
